Summary/Objective

As part of a dedicated creative team, you will collaborate with other production designers and work directly with the Art Director and production team in supporting the needs of our high-profile clients. This position is responsible for the creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform digital work, focusing mainly on resizing and creating variations for display banners.

Your work will be largely process driven and require an acute eye for detail and the ability to self-manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet demanding deadlines. Your day-to-day work will involve utilizing provided assets and resize them to the appropriate specs, always taking into consideration the specifications related to each unit and maintaining brand integrity.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the fullest understanding of graphic design, layout design and typography. They should be able to take creative direction well and implement accordingly within set guidelines and parameters. As a member of this team, you need to be collaborative and detail-oriented, always striving for accuracy.

This is a 100% remote working job; however, the company also has a physical office space for you to work if needed or preferred. Additional guidelines and requirements regarding remote working will be provided if accepted for this role.

It is required that you reside en la ciudad de Panama o el área oeste. You must either be Panamanian or an extranjero with a work permit.

You will need a clear understanding of the English language since most of the information and direction exchanged between the team will be in English.

Essential Functions

Understand project requirements and concepts
Work and collaborate within a team setting
Produce final designs to spec
Maintain orderly and clearly organized files
Self-mange deliverables and ensure timely deliveries
Apply feedback from client and internal team members to improve designs
Clearly communicate when you have questions, or something isn’t clear

Requirements
Proven work experience as a Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar role
Portfolio of completed graphic designs and creative projects
Experience in designing for digital display across multiple platforms
Must be an expert in image manipulation and color correction, with highly advanced cloning skills and the ability to extend and build backgrounds to existing images which are pixel perfect.
Hands-on experience and solid knowledge of the digital space and tools
Must be proficient in web graphic content design using Adobe Suite CC programs such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
1-3 years of experience in a digital agency setting or in a high-volume organization working in graphic design and production experience.
Build and maintain working files inside a collaborative file structure
Strong organizational skills and diligent with using graphics and file naming conventions
Ability to balance concurrent demands of multiple tasks and priorities is essential
Flexible and adaptive to change with the ability to work with others in a very fast paced, fluid, deadline-driven environment
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy to assess priorities and enable decisions
Extremely detail and solution oriented with strong listening and communication skills
Understanding collaborative workflow
Have a great sense for graphic styles and up-to-date knowledge of the latest digital trends


Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Travel
This position requires 0% travel.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a 6-month contract to start, with the possibility for continued employment.
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the established “core” work hours (Mon – Fri) and must work at least 35 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
